Little White Chapel Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What are your hours of operation?

A: Little White Wedding Chapel is typically open from 9:00 am to 10:00 pm PST, Sunday – Thursday, and 9:00 am to 12:00 am (midnight) PST, Friday – Saturday. Hours may vary on holidays or off-peak seasons.

Q: Where is Little White Wedding Chapel located?

A: We’re just north of “The Strip” at 1301 South Las Vegas Boulevard, Las Vegas, Nevada 89104.

Q: Should we make a reservation or walk in?

A: While walk-ins are welcome, due to the popularity of Little White Wedding Chapel, your desired timeslot, venue or enhancements may not be available on short notice (i.e. Pink Cadillac, Elvis impersonator, specific floral requests, etc.)

We highly recommend booking in advance to secure your preferred venue, date, and time. We are currently accepting reservations up to 5 years in advance.

Q: What do we need to get married at Little White Wedding Chapel?

A: A valid Clark County, Nevada Marriage License must be purchased before your ceremony. The cost is $102 cash or credit. This is not included in your wedding package.

You must obtain your Marriage License in person, with your partner, at 201 E. Clark Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89101. Both partners must provide a government-issued ID (i.e. valid driver’s license, passport, etc.) Wait times at the Marriage License Bureau can vary, depending on the day. Please prepare for long lines, especially on Saturdays, holidays, or specialty dates.

You can save time by pre-registering for your marriage license online here.

Q: What proof-of-marriage documents do we need after the wedding?

A: Our minister will file all the paperwork after your ceremony to legalize your marriage. Roughly 10 business days after your wedding, go to this website to order your Certified Marriage Certificate. The cost is $59 for U.S. Citizens and $89 for non-U.S. Citizens. This is not included in your ceremony package.

Click here for more information on your after-wedding documents, including Apostilles for non-U.S. Citizens who are married in Las Vegas.

Q: What do we need for a vow renewal at Little White Wedding Chapel?

A: If you are *already married, and wish to renew your vows, you do not need a Marriage License. However, you may obtain a Certificate of Vow Renewal for $21 at the Marriage License Bureau, if you wish. This is optional.

On the day of your ceremony, Little White Wedding Chapel requires all vow renewal couples to sign a document confirming the ceremony is being performed as a renewal and is not a legal ceremony.

Q: How long is the ceremony?

A: Ceremony reservations are booked about every 15 minutes, with the actual ceremony lasting between 7 - 10 minutes. From arrival to departure, plan to be onsite for less than one hour. This includes a required arrival 30 minutes before your ceremony, and a departure about 15 minutes after your ceremony.

Q: When should we arrive for our ceremony?

A: All couples are required to check in *together, with your marriage license, dressed and ready to go at least 30 minutes before your ceremony time. It is imperative you, your partner, and guests arrive on time (at least 30 minutes before your ceremony). Please review the Chapel Policies Agreement here for details on late arrivals and rescheduling procedures/costs, etc.

Q: What if our guests are late?

A: We are unable to hold the chapel venue, or delay your ceremony to accommodate late guests, family, friends, or wedding party members. Please advise all guests to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your ceremony time. Please review the Chapel Policies Agreement here for more information.

Q: Do you keep couples separated before the ceremony?

A: At this time, there are no areas available to keep couples separated for a “First Glance” at the ceremony. You must check in *together, dressed and ready to go, with your Marriage License at least 30 minutes before your ceremony time.

Q: Is there a bridal suite or room to dress?

A: There are no areas to get dressed, put on makeup, etc. All couples must check in *together, dressed and ready to go, with your Marriage License at least 30 minutes before your ceremony time. It is imperative you and all your guests arrive on time. Please review the Chapel Policies Agreement here for more information on late arrivals and rescheduling procedures/costs, etc.

Q: How many guests can we invite to the ceremony?

A: This depends on the package and venue you have chosen, but our largest venue, Amore, can accommodate up to 60 guests. Please review our venues page for more information and call or chat with a wedding planner if you have additional questions.

Please note: a “guest” is anyone attending the ceremony including children, wedding party attendants, personal photographers, etc. These guest numbers are strictly enforced due to fire codes and to ensure the safety of everyone.

Q: Is parking available at Little White Wedding Chapel?

A: Yes. However, we highly suggest being dropped off by taxi, rideshare, limousine, “party bus”, etc. as the small chapel parking lot fills up quickly.

Q: Can we have ceremony attendants (bridesmaids, groomsmen, etc.)?

A: Due to high demand, and our smaller size, we do not accommodate bridal parties for most ceremony venues (i.e. the popular Little White Wedding Chapel, Gazebo, Pink Cadillac, or Tunnel of Love.) However, bridal parties can be accommodated inside our largest chapel, Amore, which is available for an additional charge. Please talk to your wedding planner as soon as possible if you’d like to book our largest venue or change venues.

Q: Can I have someone walk me down the aisle?

A: Yes, but only for indoor chapel or gazebo ceremonies. For Pink Cadillac or Tunnel of Love ceremonies, there is no “aisle” to walk down, so an escort is not utilized.

Q: Are religious and non-religious ceremonies available?

A; Yes! Chapel ministers and officiants are licensed to perform non-denominational religious ceremonies or non-religious (also known as Civil) ceremonies. Let your planner or ceremony coordinator know your preference.

Q: Do you perform ceremonies in foreign languages?

A: Yes. A foreign language-speaking minister or officiant is available for an additional charge starting at $150 and is based on availability. This upgrade must be secured at least 14 days before your confirmed ceremony. Please call or chat with your wedding planner for more information.

Q: Can we bring our own Officiant, Minister, or Elvis Impersonator?

A: We do not allow for any outside Ministers or any other type of Officiant. Only our licensed Officiants and Impersonators may conduct ceremonies. There are no exceptions to this policy.

Q: Do we need to bring a witness?

A: A witness is legally required for each marriage ceremony, but you do not need to provide one. One of your ceremony guests may act as your witness, or a member of our staff will happily sign your legal paperwork as your witness free of charge!

Q: Can we say our own Vows?

A: Yes, but we ask you please keep it short, sweet, and sentimental. We recommend a total of 3 - 5 lines or roughly 1 minute for each partner’s vows.

Q: Can our friends and family watch a livestream of the ceremony?

A: At this time, we do not offer ceremony livestreams. However, you or a guest may livestream your ceremony on the platform of your choice using your/their own cell phone.

Q: Can we choose our ceremony music?

A: No. Only traditional ceremony music is played at the beginning and end of your ceremony (i.e. walk down the aisle and exit as a couple). If you decide to have “Elvis” marry you, some packages include the impersonator performing one to three songs. In this case, we have a list of Elvis songs for you to choose from.

Q: Can we bring our own photographer?

A: Yes. While you are able to book a photo session with one of our professional photographers, you may bring your own photographer for no additional charge. We simply ask you and your photographer carefully review the Chapel Policies Agreement here for more details and guidelines.

Q: Where can we take photos after the ceremony?

A: We do not guarantee any additional venue time for photography upon conclusion of the ceremony. We guarantee the ceremony timeframe only. In order to guarantee after-ceremony photo time and/or a popular photo venue (i.e. Elvis’ Pink Cadillac), you may purchase an additional timeslot immediately after your ceremony. Please call or chat with a wedding planner to upgrade your plan.

Please note: the Chapel prioritizes couples who have purchased a photo shoot with one of our staff photographers, especially during busy times.

Q: Can we book a photoshoot without having a ceremony?

A: Due to high demand, we do not allow photoshoots anywhere on our chapel grounds - or even on the sidewalks or other public spaces with our branding/signs in the background - without booking a ceremony with us. Furthermore, confirmed couples and outside photographers may not shoot photos on or around the property at a different time/day.

Please talk to your wedding planner about photo packages or bringing an outside photographer. We recommend carefully reviewing the Chapel Policies Agreement here for more information.

Please note: if you are interested in shooting on or around our property for marketing purposes or business collaborations, please contact our Marketing Department at Marketing@LittleWhiteWeddingChapel.com.

Q: If we book a photographer through Little White Wedding Chapel, when can we view our photos?

A: Before your ceremony, your planner will help you schedule an online photo-viewing appointment. This typically happens 7 - 10 days after your ceremony, but can be scheduled later to accommodate travel plans, etc.

Q: Is there a dress code?

A: You, and your guests, are welcome to dress as formally or as casual as you’d like. However, we strictly enforce that you must remain fully clothed at all times, as we welcome families and guests of all ages, and from all over the world. We love when couples and guests express their unique style, but please save the lingerie and almost-bare attire for your wedding night and/or honeymoon.

Q: Can you help with Hair and Makeup?

A: Absolutely! We can send a professional hair and/or makeup artist to your hotel room, or wherever you are getting ready. Contact your planner for more details and to add this enhancement to your plan.

Q: Is Little White Wedding Chapel wheelchair accessible?

A: Yes!

Q: After we’ve paid our deposit, when is the balance due?

A: Your final balance is due 14 days before your confirmed ceremony date. If the final balance is not paid on time, your ceremony is subject to cancellation.

Q: What if we need to reschedule our ceremony?

A: During the planning process, Little White Wedding Chapel offers one complimentary reschedule prior to the final balance due date (14 days before your ceremony). Any additional schedule changes to the venue, date, or time will result in a $100 fee.

If you choose to postpone your ceremony prior to your balance due date (more than 14 days before your ceremony), your payments may be transferable. Please review the Chapel Policies Agreement here for more information.

Q: Are there any additional fees or gratuities?

A: We encourage all couples to provide a donation or gratuity to your minister or officiant on the day of your ceremony. The suggested amount of $40 - $60 covers the minister/officiant’s time and dedication to performing your ceremony. This can be given in cash directly to your minister/officiant, or added to your wedding costs and paid with credit or debit card in advance.

Finally, a surcharge of 19% will be added to all balances due, and Nevada State Sales Tax will be added to products and services as applicable. Please refer to our Chapel Policies Agreement here for more information.
